Executive and Team Leader Coaching

Executives and Team Leaders become the architects of the business culture.  What they model is what the rest of the organization is seeing as the norms, or the rules of engagement. Executives and Team Leaders have tremendous responsibility and accountability on their shoulders.  The smart men and woman of global business surround themselves with great resources, they surround themselves with people who “know the way.” Consider the following story:

A man falls into a hole.  He looks up to the people passing by and shouts, “I have fallen into a hole can someone help me out?” 
A man shouts back, “I’m going to get a ladder and we can try that”.  He moves on.
Again the man shouts, this time a little louder “I have fallen into a hole can someone help me out?” 
This time a woman responds, “I’ll go look for a rope perhaps that will help.” And she leaves him in search of a rope.
Clearly frustrated the man cries out again, “I have fallen into a hole can someone help me out?” 
Another man hears him and confidently replies, “yes, I can!” and jumps in the hole with him.
“What have you done” cries the first man, “Now we are both in the hole!” “Yes”, the second man calmly replies, “But, I have been here before and I know the way out”.

Business coaching is the practice of providing support and occasional advice to an individual or group in order to help them recognize ways in which they can improve the effectiveness of their business. Business coaches work to improve leadership, employee accountability, teamwork, sales, communication, goal setting, strategic planning and more. Business coaches are often called in when a business or individual is perceived to be performing badly, however many businesses recognize the benefits of business coaching even when the organization is successful.
